After reading this tutorial you will be able to create your own autoblog. No need to spend money and have others do it for you when you can do it yourself, in no more than 20-25 minutes! What are you waiting for? Click read more and start your very own autoblog in just a couple of minutes

Alright before starting, I would firstly like to explain what an autoblog is all about. Autoblog is basically a blog which posts content automatically. You specify a source where to get the feeds (posts) and you also specify a particular time. Lets say you want every 6 hours new posts to be published in your autoblog, so you setup the plugin correctly and you see your blog getting filled with different posts

Warning! Autoblogging is considered plagiarism (you copy someone else work and post it in your site) so this article is for educational purposes only (there are scripts which can spin the article and make it “unique” so it will seem okay for the search engine spiders but not quite readable for humans

After you have installed Wordpress successfully, you should also install WP-O-Matic

WP-o-Matic makes autoblogging a snap by automatically creating posts from the RSS/Atom feeds you choose, which are organized into campaigns.

After you have successfully installed WP-O-Matic, you go at Settings and then WP-O-Matic. The following screen will open:

WP-O-MATIC

Follow those steps and after you have completed the system testing you are ready to start autoblogging. Click on Add Campaign, this page will come up

Complete each of the details on the first tab, the second tab is about the RSS Feed, so where is it going to get the information from. You can post more than one rss feed so it will take posts from various places.

The third tab is categorizing each new post, so you select on which category you want the posts to be displayed and then you continue on the fourth tab which is Rewrite. Its about rewriting different words to make the article look unique but most of the times you get rubbish results so its not worth it.

The last tab is Options,  where you specify different options such as

  • Frequency (How often will it check for new posts from the feeds and post them to your blog)
  • Cache Images (If you tick it, means all the images from the rss feeds will be stored in your server)
  • Use Feed Date (You can use the date it was originally posted or the time it was autoposted in your blog)
  • Perform Pingbacks (Select this to Yes if you want to perform different pingbacks from time to time)
  • Type of Post To Create (This should be set as Published)
  • Author (You select who will be the author shown in public)
  • Max items to create on each fetch (Set this to 5 and it will take 5 new articles for every X period you specied before)
  • Discussion Options (Leave that default as it it)

You are done!

You have now created your first autoblog! I already told you its simple. You can create different auto-campaigns to pull posts from various different RSS feeds
