• Your Word Goes Viral (Twitter , Facebook , Reddit , Digg , StumbleUpon etc)
• Traffic starts coming to your site at the moment you tweet, post an update, submit it on digg or any other social bookmarking website)
• Inexpensive and can be easily done with a couple of basic Internet skills

Advantages of Search Engine Optimization

• Long Term & Highly Profitable (If done right)
• More formal & professional
• Can’t be easily done (this is an advantage for the ones who know SEO)

Do any search on Google regarding a problem you have or a “how to” question, you will see that Yahoo Answers is almost on TOP of every other website, this shows once more the supremacy of social media sites

With the actual changes on Google where they are showing real time discussions from Twitter, it is doubtful whether you can actually outrank high authority social sites such as Digg , Twitter , Facebook and much more plus another factor which actually affects directly search engine optimizers is the fact that Google algorithm is changing frequently and who knows, in the future the actual tactics might not even work anymore

Alexa is an Amazon site which deals with statistics and analysis of millions of websites

If you check the TOP 500 Global Sites in the world, you are going to see that the most visited websites are Google, Facebook & Yahoo. Actually what amazed me was the title of the Facebook listing which is something like “Facebook, the next Friendster” Check the image below for a solid proof

If you actually see Facebook’s page over at Alexa you will see the following description:

Now wait a minute? Is that an error or it was done on purpose? I check Alexa standings frequently so that was not there like 7-8 days ago

Don’t you think is a bit interesting, Facebook the next Friendster? Friendster is another social networking site but not as big as Facebook so whats the purpose of comparing Facebook with Friendster

Let us see what the big guys (press) will say about this and I don’t believe its a “glitch” or a bug in the system

Her response near the end of the video is, “I’ll think about it.”

In late September 2008 Ettinger made a YouTube video with Independent candidate Ralph Nader in which he argues that he should be included in the debates. The video was a spoof of conventional sit-coms and was called “The Obama Girl and Ralph Nader Show.” Also featuring former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura, the video followed what would happen if Obama Girl and Ralph Nader shared an office.
